Building Peace for the World's Children
Writing for Peace
Submitted on Sun, Jun 21, 2009 at 11:19 AM

English translation of above submission:
I am a volunteer for the construction of peace and development in my territory of Manono in Katanga Province.

The members of my community is relatively poor. There is a lack of viable social infrastructure like schools, hospitals, roads and the country is landlocked and difficult for farmers to sell their products in the fields.

Now they have developed a hatred against other nationals living in the territories. Those are somewhat high, they take the few government services, health, education, trade ...

It is so far difficult to invest in our community may expose to vandalism investment.

Therefore, we employ the culture of peace and development. We need to train our people to make its workforce competitive bids for jobs, get to work to produce instead of coveting the production of others.

When everyone can (be) self-sufficient, coexistence with other communities will be harmonious. That is why we request your assistance to facilitate the training of trainers, we provide equipment and extension of funding for education and training (for) both children and adults.
