Except for stories and photos about gorillas, diamonds and the school at Pointe Noire, it is difficult to locate any good news about or images from the DRC. When one reads the C.I.A. World Factbook, DRCongo appears to have major challenges that need to be addressed -- many of them immediately. However, we are fortunate to have attracted five medical professionals who were already working to improve the lives of people in this region of the world. Join us in welcoming them into the POWI family. We are happy to share the foundations of this movement and to introduce you to the leadership of this overwhelming yet outstanding effort.
