Asaviour® Houses

Where there is Love, there is Peace.

(Note: Asaviour® Houses are a new concept being funded (at this time) entirely by Dr. Sophia Asaviour Crocheron. However, it is an outgrowth of the Children's Peace Academy which is one of the aspects of the PeacePlex concept which is also designed by Peace of the World International.)

In keeping with a statement I made some years ago: "Peace of the World International is founded to create a community for children within a community of citizens who reside in a State of Peace. We will not fail"

It is on this precept that Asaviour® Houses are established.

Ours is an international non-profit, non-sectarian, non-governmental social services and education organization registered in the State of Michigan, USA. We have worked in the areas of education, training, community development, peace relations, and social services for over 25 years and have become experienced in fields of collaborative relationships, economic development, cross-cultural and cross-tribal boards of directors (members are all-volunteer), project task-forcing, and appropriate response to immediate needs. We have branches in nine (9) countries as well as three branches in the U.S. Like most NGO's we are still working on acquiring and maintaining adequate and sustainable funding sources. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

We are in the process of dedicating the first of the Asaviour® Houses which will be residences of Peace in rural communities in Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, and Ghana before year's end 2012. We will establish a home where at least 16 orphan children will be housed, clothed, and fed noutritional meals year-round. Non-traditional education techniques grounded in the culture and world around the children.will be integrated into daily life activities.

Living with the children will be 6 to 8 widows whose innate skills will be enhanced and new skills developed while caring for the children living in the house and caring for each other.

From these small steps, we will develop relationships with our neighbors and ascertain their needs for health care, education, vocational training, work/employment, and any other primary aid to community growth and economic development.

Of course, with the above-listed activities, we will require major assistance and commitment from well-wishers, volunteers, and sponsors to keep the Residences in operation and implement the Inspire Peace Program expansion plan. This is where we are asking for the opportunity to Partner with YOU. We would appreciate your immediate involvement in establishing Asaviour® Houses as residences of Peace now.
